San Diego International Orchid Fair Sponsored by Quail Botanical Gardens, the 11th annual San Diego International Orchid Fair offers hundreds of Orchid species and hybrids, exhibits and sales, classes, lectures and AOS judging. Dia de los Muertos event with James Hubbell
Oct.29 9 AM – 5 PM In the spirit of Halloween and Dia de los Muertos, the Gardens will be filled with workshops by local Latino and American artists. Wear a Halloween or traditional Mexican costume, play music with traditional instruments, create and take home art projects. Sponsored by James Hubbell's Ilan-Lael Foundation.
Regular admission prices apply.

Nov. 10 9:30 AM – Noon Join us to learn about the many different volunteer opportunities at Quail Botanical Gardens. Includes a tour of the Gardens, a slide presentation on the Gardens' history and refreshments.

After the sun goes down, the Gardens are transformed into a dazzling winter wonderland with 90,000+ sparkling lights illuminating the plants and trees for a magical holiday experience. Numerous activities including holiday crafts, marshmallow roasting, visits with Santa, musicians and refreshments. Admission: Non-members $6, Members/Seniors/Students/Active Military $4, Children 3-12 $2, Children under 3 are free.
